Valcambi is one of the world's biggest precious metals refiners, located in Balerna, Switzerland. Their precious metals refinery is located in a 33 hectare area and is one of the biggest such facilities in the world. Valcambi gold bullion is well known and recognised in international gold markets as one of the best Swiss refiners. Their precious metals laboratory was the first to be accredited by the Swiss Government for assay, trading and melting of precious metals. Valcambi is recognised by the London Bullion Market Association as an acceptable Good Delivery Refiner. This is the highest recognition given to any Swiss refiner. Their reputation as a precious metals refiner is exceptionally high and for almost 40 years they have been the sole manufacturer of precious metal bars for Switzerland's biggest bank Credit Suisse. They also manufacture bullion gold bars for some of the biggest banks in the world like Scotia Bank of Canada, Raiffeisen Bank of Switzerland and Reliance Money of India.
Each Valcambi gold bullion bar is packed in a secured sealed plastic sleeve together with an assay certificate. The assay certificate confirms the bar weight, fineness and quality. Each gold bullion bar is individually registered by Valcambi and this provides superior protection against tampering. Each Valcambi gold bullion bar carries the official assayer stamp of Essayeur Fondeur. They are refined to a purity of 999.9 investment grade.
